We keep making your mountain so much better. Take a look at what we have been up to:
BURNT RIDGE MOUNTAIN - View Aerial Tour For 2008/2009, Gore Mountain introduces you to our all-new development on Burnt Ridge Mountain, one of our four unique peaks. We'll be opening six new trails there (that's just for starters). This new terrain will increase our vertical drop from 2,100 feet to 2,300 feet, while making our longest continuous run jump from 2.9 miles to 3.7 miles! Look for a blend of intermediate and expert terrain serviced by the high-speed Burnt Ridge Quad. Amazing new glades too! Here's the lineup:
ECHO - Twister's Sister. She's a long, fun, blue square with cool banked turns and beautiful cliff views.
SAGAMORE - A new black diamond on the lift line. Like Topridge, but bigger and badder with more vertical.
CEDARS - Offering convenient intermediate access from the base area to the bottom of the Burnt Ridge Quad.
HEDGES - An access trail that brings you from the top of the Burnt Ridge Quad to Twister, directly above the entrance to the Twister Glades.
SAGAMORE GLADES - Can't get enough of Gore's great tree skiing? We know, that's why we're brining you this new 2350' glade.
CIRQUE GLADES - Cirques are amazing rock formations that create ampitheatre-like basins. Enjoy the scenery!
BURNT RIDGE NEWS FLASH: Concrete was flown to Burnt Ridge, and the lift towers will be going in very soon- keep an eye on the Photo Album for updates! The trail work has been going great, you'll love the new views.
OPEN- THE NEW NORTHWOODS LODGE BY LINCOLN LOGS The old gondola building was transformed into all-new Northwoods Lodge! Constructed in partnership with Lincoln Logs, the new lodge houses the Kids Klub children's program, Snow Sports School, daycare, and rentals. Beginners and families are able to access the Northwoods Lodge directly from the parking lot, and then enter the Base Area wearing rental equipment, with their children secured in daycare or lessons! Immediately accessible from the Northwoods Lodge is the newly improved Bear Cub Run trail, terrain offering an ideal experience to the first-time skier or rider. The Snow Train conveyor lift, recently lengthened to 100', was relocated to this trail for children's programs.
In celebration of the Northwoods Lodge, the Snow Sports School is offering a buffet of new program choices for all ages, including one-day clinics, adult holiday camps, and season-long teen programs.

We are excited to again work with corporate partner Lincoln Logs in the construction of the new Northwoods Lodge! Lincoln Logs has supported Gore Mountain's goal of constructing recent and future buildings in the classic Adirondack Great Camp style. (rendition by Gary McCoola, Architect, PLLC)
BETTER BASE LODGE While beginners and families are enjoying the convenience of the Northwoods Lodge, guests heading right to the slopes benefit from 7,500 square feet of remodeled space in the Base Lodge! More seating, lockers, hooks, and storage space are now available. For 2008/2009, we've removed the walls between the previous rental shop and previous daycare area- it looks great and offers you plenty of new room to hang with your crew. Better bathrooms too!
SKI BOWL PROGRESS We installed a new triple chairlift at the North Creek Ski Bowl, servicing 150' vertical feet. Enjoy evening activities there, including family friendly skiing and riding on Village Slope, and Ski Bowl "Park," a new terrain park with with half-pipe! This all adds to the tubing fun! Season passholders have added-value benefits of skiing and riding there included.
