Overview

Meet us in the mountains!

Join the conversation and hundreds of participants working to identify and resolve issues of common concern within the Adirondack Park. From sustainability to housing, workforce, and more! Help to develop a focused action plan called Blueprint for the Blue Line. The blueprint is a set of recommendations for state Legislators and agencies to improve park management and the quality of life for residents and visitors.

Gore Mountain is a leader in environmental conservation, dedicated to sustainability and the economic health of our region- making us the perfect host and partner for the Common Ground Alliance. Did you know that Gore has the largest solar array dedicated to a ski area in the United States? Gore Mountain is also actively decreasing energy use and continuing long-term investments in high-efficiency snowmaking and other alternative ways to save resources, reduce waste, and educate our customers.

For more information about the CGA and how to register for the 2022 summer forum please visit the Common Ground Alliance website.

Post Forum Fun

Following the forum join us for a fantastic opportunity to network with other businesses, community members and representatives of the Common Ground Alliance.

Participants are invited to enjoy a cocktail hour on the sundeck, and experience a scenic skyride. Our Northwoods Gondola is ADA accessible and showcases incredible views of the Southern Adirondacks while delivering you to the top of Bear Mountain. Guests can take a short nature walk on the Alpine Sky Loop, or a relaxing stroll through our Mountaintop Labyrinth, located below the Fairview Observation Deck.

So don’t forget your camera, good shoes, and perhaps a bit of sunblock and bug spray!
