Snow Report

Snow Report for Sunday, January 29
We have so many trails to explore, thanks in part to 13″ of natural snow received in the past week. Head over to Burnt Ridge Mountain today- the black diamond Sagamore and brand-new blue square “Backwoods” trails opened earlier this week. Come out and shred this awesome new trail! More trails opened recently in the North Side and Straight Brook areas. We’ll have a handful of glades going as the day starts – get at them while they last! Groomers will redress about 50 trails overnight on their nightly grind. Look for snowmakers getting started on The Rumor and Chatiemac, and wrapping up on Wild Air. So much adventure awaits. Get here a little earlier today to avoid the morning rush – our food court opens at 7:30am and other services open at 8am!
Have fun on 11 features in our park on Upper Sleighride! Start small and work your way up. As always, have fun while skiing/riding with care! We are hosting a USASA Slopestyle Comp on 2b & The Arena, and that course will be closed to the public today. Please note that Echo is open for the U16 Super G only today. Sunday also features a U10 World Cup slalom on Village Slopes.
Sunday’s Food Court lunch special is Shepherd’s Pie with ground beef and corn topped with mashed potatoes and cheddar jack for $12. Give your boards some love from our Tuning & Repair Shop– we offer quick waxes, standard tunes, emergency repairs, and more. Visit our Retail Shop upstairs in the Base Lodge for Gore Mountain gifts, souvenirs, or new gear.
The Nordic Center is open today for cross-country skiing & snowshoeing. We’re hosting the Mid-Atlantic Junior National Qualifiers and NYSSRA races today at 9am and trails will open to the public following the final race at approx. 1pm. The Village Chair is spinning for twilight skiing/riding 11am-6pm today. Access is included with season passes and lift tickets, and Nordic trail and twilight lift tickets can be purchased in person at the Ski Bowl.
Employment Opportunity: We are currently hiring lift operators & lift attendants who enjoy working in a fast-paced and fun environment. Employee perks include your SKI3 season pass, discounts on food and retail, and specials at the Lake Placid Legacy Sites.
