Your Photo Could Hang in One of Our Lodges!

Send us your best shot from your favorite snow day at Gore Mountain! Scenic photos, photos of your family & friends, action photos, and arty images are all welcome in the contest. The winning photograph will be enlarged and displayed in one of our lodges. When you submit any of your photos, we might post them on our social media channels!

DEADLINE: Photo contest submission ends on October 9, 2022. The winner of the photo contest will be announced by the end of October via social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter).

THE PRIZE: The winning photograph will be printed and displayed in one of our lodges during the 2022/23 season and for future seasons.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Each contestant may enter up to three photographs.
  • Only photos taken at Gore Mountain during the winter (snow season) will be considered.
  • Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official Winter Photo Contest Submission Form. Entries not submitted through the form will not be accepted.
  • Contestants entering the Gore Mountain Winter Photo Contest (or their parent/legal guardian for contestants under age 18) must agree to the Photo Contest Consent Release on their submission form.
  • Please submit only appropriate images (scenic, action, family fun, friends & selfies). Violators will be removed from the contest, stripped of any prize(s), and banned from entering future contests.
  • The Gore Mountain staff will judge entries. All decisions are final. Gore Mountain reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or not conforming to stated contest rules.
  • Any photo(s) submitted may be shared on our social media channels.
  • Entries will not be accepted after the deadline of October 9, 2022.

Winter Photo Contest Submission Form

Photo Contest Consent Release

By entering into the Gore Mountain Winter Photo Contest (“Contest”), I hereby authorize and grant to the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (“ORDA”) and its legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted license to publish, re-publish, modify, copy, advertise and otherwise use, either alone or in combination with other material, any image photographed by me, including but not limited to, my likeness, name, and any statements or other information I provide or provided in connection with the Contest (“Image”) for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other lawful purpose and in any manner and medium; and to alter and composite the same without restriction and without my inspection or approval. “My likeness” includes a photograph, videotape recording, film or artistic rendering of me, a recording of my voice, and/or reproduction of any of these.</br> I hereby release ORDA and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said Image and/or likeness and I consent to ORDA sharing my Image and/or likeness with such third parties as it deems appropriate. This license is worldwide in scope, shall continue indefinitely, and is without further compensation or consideration to me or others and without further notice to me or others.

Additionally, I warrant the following:
1. I am 18 years of age or older, or if under the age of 18, I have obtained permission and consent from my parent/guardian to enter into the Contest;
2. The Image I have submitted is my original work; and
3. I have permission to use the likeness of any identifiable individual in the Image for entry into the Contest and that the Image may be published as stipulated herein.

This agreement is governed by the applicable laws of New York State. If any part of this agreement is determined to be unenforceable, all other parts shall be given full force and effect. I agree and understand that any claim or lawsuit against ORDA may only be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of New York.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A CONTRACT THAT IS BINDING UPON ME, MY HEIRS AND LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES AND I, THE UNDERSIGNED, HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
