2025-2026 Nordic Events

Sunday, December 14:
Gore Mountain Snowshoe Race. Recreational 2.5k and Masters 5k courses. Registration starts at 1pm in the Joe Minder Lodge.

Saturday, January 3rd:
Full Moon Party. Enjoy the snow under the natural moonlight with the community! Offering guided snowshoe tours, group Nordic lessons, live music, a bonfire with s’mores, and more.

Wednesdays, January 7th – February 25th:
Gore Mountain Citizen Series Races. 6 pm start time each Wednesday, registration begins at 5:15 PM inside the Ski Bowl Lodge! Skate Ski, Classic Ski, or Snowshoe. Competitors can choose to do 1K (1 loop), 2K (2 loops), 3K (3 loops), 4K (4 loops), and 5K (5 loops). Bib-draw raffle inside Lodge following each race! Runs 8 consecutive Wednesday evenings.

Thursday, January 8th – Friday, January 9th:
Gore Regional Nordic Kids Program. Runs from 5 PM – 6:30 PM Thursday and Friday for 6 consecutive weeks, beginning January 8th and ending Friday, February 13th. Registration available through your local school (Gore Region).

Saturday, January 24th:
Queensbury Invitational. Classic Technique. Start time 10:30 am. Hosted by the Section 2 Ski League.

Saturday, January 24th – Sunday, January 25th:
Mid-Atlantic Junior National Qualifiers. Registration on Skireg.com. Day-of registration inside Joe Minder Lodge.
– Day 1 (Saturday): Classic technique. Start time 9 am.
– Day 2 (Sunday): Skate technique. Start time 9:30 am.

Wednesday, February 11th:
Section 2 Ski League Nordic Championships. Start time 2pm. Hosted by the Section 2 Ski League.

Friday, March 6th – Sunday, March 8th:
NENSA Eastern High School Championships
– Day 1 (Friday): 5k Skate. Start time 3pm.
– Day 2 (Saturday): 7.5k Classic, start time 9:30 am. Skate Sprint, start time 2 pm.
– Day 3 (Sunday): 2.5k Mixed Team Relays. Start time 10 am.
