The mornings are getting cooler on the mountain, the first hints of fall color are starting to show, and there is just one day left to ride the Hudson Chair for scenic skyrides! Come take a ride up the Ski Bowl on Saturday, September 19th, before summer operations wrap up. Due to forecasted rain, the Hudson Chair will be closed on Sunday, September 20th.

Then, the fall fun continues! Gondola Scenic Skyrides will be running Saturdays and Sundays, September 26th – October 11th. Ride up Bear Mountain and take in some of the best foliage views in the Adirondacks as the colors really start to pop.

SUMMER/FALL 2026 OPERATIONS
Come enjoy the fall foliage on our Scenic Skyrides! Hudson Chair Scenic Skyrides will be available Saturday, September 19th. Then, Gondola Skyrides will be open Saturdays and Sundays, September 26th – October 11th. Hiking trails are open from the main base area as well. Got your 2026/27 Season Pass? Safety & Policies


CHAIRLIFT SCENIC SKYRIDES

All chairlift passengers must be at least 52″ tall, able to sit up on their own, and be able to raise and lower the restraint bar under their own power. There is no food service or restrooms at the top of the skyride.
