Skyride Overview

During summer and fall, enjoy a relaxing ride with stunning Adirondack views. Connect with our entire hiking network from the top of the skyride to explore interpretive loops and longer treks to scenic vistas. Bring your downhill bike and helmet, and take a spin down our challenging tracks. Bikers can warm up on our easier base area loop trails before heading up either lift to access our 1,700 vertical feet of intermediate to expert rated trails.

As a guideline, skyrides are on our open-air chairlift Friday and Saturday and on our enclosed gondola Thursday and Sunday. The last ride up is at 3:45 pm. This schedule is subject to change based on weather and other variables.

Free interpretive talks are offered at the top of the skyride – learn about our history and the surrounding region in these discussions led by our knowledgeable staff.  Try our free on-mountain hiking activities (game cards can be downloaded online or acquired at ticket windows), and challenge your friends and family to a round of disc golf under a cool canopy of hardwoods on our new 9-hole course in the Base Area forest!

Be sure to review our Operational Updates page in advance of your visit to review our current health and safety information, and note that masks are required in designated areas and whenever social distancing cannot be maintained.
