Venue Overview

Gore Mountain’s Nordic Center offers a professionally groomed 4k trail network that features snowmaking and lighting to extend your on-snow time into the evening hours.

Please note: As of December 21st, 2024 the Nordic Center will be credit card only, cash will no longer be accepted.

Our stadium layout provides an ideal training and racing venue, and you can explore a scenic overlook, challenging hill climbs, and different loops to lap the best distance for your goals.  We recently received four FIS certifications, which means our courses meet the criteria for hosting a range of high-level racing events.  We are honored to host many types of competitions each snow season, which are exciting for both spectators and athletes.  Contact us to schedule team training and events on our certified courses.

Recreational users are always welcome. Customize your cross-country ski outing with varying inclines, natural wooded routes, and lighted tracks for evening fitness. If you’re just getting started, ask about equipment rentals and lessons – we’re happy to introduce you to this beautiful sport. Snowshoers are welcome along the sides of the trails too.

*For College Passes, we use a national database to verify current full-time enrollment (12+ credits for undergraduate students and 9+ credits for graduate students).
**Military Nordic Passes are available for active military and their dependents, US Military Veterans, and members of the US Reserves & National Guard. Eligibility will be verified by GovX for online purchases, or in-person with either a CAC Card, DOD Form 1173, or DD Form 214.
***Our Family Pass includes 2 Adult Passes + Child Passes for their children ages 19 & under living in the same household.

If you’re looking for a different way to enjoy the Adirondacks, explore one of the few places that make snow for cross-country skiers and snowshoers. Nordic skiing is a great workout, and it’s also a totally invigorating way to experience the outdoors. Our trail network offers snowmaking, grooming, and lights for evening activity. All levels of cross-country skiers and snowshoers are welcome!
